1987 classic Amiga game - role playing games

Somewhere deep in the dungeons firestaff of Librasulus (the Grey Lord) is hidden. With the help of this firestaff he could take physical form again and fight Lord Chaos for the control of the world. So far many champions have entered the dungeons, but none of them came back. As Theron, Grey Lord’s apprentice, we are unable to enter the dungeon, but we can resurrect some of the champions (up to 4) to guide them through the dark corridors in order to reach the firestaff and finally defeat the Lord Chaos.

On the way we stumble upon traps and creatures, we have to search for the ways to get through the doors and blockades, collect food and water to feed the party members, weapons to fight the creatures, parts of the armour to protect the characters.

Dungeon Master was one of the most popular early RPG games that introduced a lot of elements that defined the genre - from first-person view to real-time combat elements and paper doll inventory interface. With time of course it has lost a lot of its appeal, but still is worth to take a look at the classic that started modern RPGs.
