Will this show ever be released here in the united states on dvd. Only seasons one and three are region free. The others are region 2. This was such a good show and for the life of me, I can't believe it hasn't been released here. Why???

 Que?? Where did You get it? All of my DVD's are for Region 2 only...
But to answer your question IMO the reason why CITC was never released in States is that the creators and producers of this series really really suck as a marketing minds
f.e. same guys have produced Dave's World (unavailable), Larry Sanders Show (only 1 season available), My Family (only 1 season available), Cybill (unavailable), etc.

another reason for this could be, and i might be wrong about this but perhaps the show has a much bigger fanbase in europe, particularly in germany and scadanavia. i have all four seasons and they are all region 2. your best bet would be to purchase all the seasons- 1 up to 4 and buy yourself a multi-regional dvd player. as its multi-regional you can play dvds from any country
